Passion is the latest novel in the Fallen series by Lauren Kate. At the end of the last novel we find Luce climbing through an announcer to get away from the battle that ensued between the good angels, the dark angels and  the Outcasts.  On the other side she finds herself in Russia during World War Two and unfortunately, bears witness to seeing her previous self lit up like a torch after kissing past life Daniel. After watching that she decides to go through another announcer and once through this one she finds herself a nurse in World War One in another previous life.

As she makes her way through all these previous lives Daniel, the other angels and her two friends from the academy are trying to find her, slipping through announcers themselves. Doing this she hopes to find the answers to the many questions she has about her and Daniel.

I found this book interesting though slightly long winded. It gives readers perspective on what Luce and Daniel have been through. It helped me better understand Daniels personality and why he acts the way he does. Though I would recommend reading the first two books before tackling this one. I believe it complements the other two novels well. I cannot wait until the fourth and final novel of the series comes out in 2012.
